Resolution criteria

This market will resolve YES if, at the close date, the preponderance of evidence suggests that Eyup Lovely was swatted.

This market will resolve NO if, at the close date, the preponderance of evidence suggests that Eyup Lovely was not swatted.

This market will resolve to 50% if, at the close date, there is severe uncertainty as to whether or not Eyup Lovely was swatted.

Close date

This market will close at 23:59:00 UTC on 25 July 2026 and will not resolve sooner.

Wikipedia defines 'swatting' as follows:

Swatting is a form of criminal harassment that involves deceiving an emergency service (via such means as hoaxing an emergency services dispatcher) into sending a police or emergency response team to another person's location. This is achieved by false reporting of a serious law enforcement emergency, such as a bomb threat, mass shooting, domestic violence, murder, hostage situation, or a false report of a mental health emergency, such as that a person is suicidal or homicidal and armed, among other things.
