His response to Dwarkesh was here: https://twitter.com/BasedBeffJezos/status/1732168973830238495.

After attacking Dwarkesh in patently false fashion, he indicated his intention to find a 'technical opponent with skin in the game' and suggested Connor Leahy. While he wouldn't be my first pick, he would clearly be a Worthy Opponent, as would be Dan Hendrycks who he previously backed out of a debate with.

To count, it must be a debate or truth-seeking discussion, lasting at least 50 minutes, available on the internet by the deadline, on the subject of the core views expressed by Jezos or on existential risk from AI, against a Worthy Opponent.

I will decide who counts as a Worthy Opponent, but I intend to be pretty generous here, so long as the person can hold up a reasonable argument in this area and holds that existential risk from AI is sufficient that we should do substantial things about it.

never seen him attempt to engage seriously with doomer thought, I suspect he might not have a take other than the pro-omnicide angle

@warty omg no way, let's see what it is

I think >25% chance of backing out. Beff's verbal debate skill is unknown, possibly to he himself, he got famous by tweeting (and mainly by whipping up an audience against a strawman).

"Debate with Connor is on! [...] Stay tuned for details." https://twitter.com/BasedBeffJezos/status/1732175108201198002

@ZackMDavis can't wait, Connor is very passionate and so is Beff, might be less civil than Eli/Hotz
