You see a $50 bill lying on the floor of the Grand Central Station.

About 20 minutes later you are back at the Grand Central Station and you see a $50 bill. As far as you can tell it's on the same spot where you saw it earlier.

However, you are returning from a surgery and lowering yourself to pick up the bill will hurt. The pain is negligible compared to how happy the $50 would make you, and the maneuver will have no lasting health consequences, but if you do it and you don't become $50 richer it will be deeply unpleasant.
