The New York Times said "Israeli attacks hit air-defense systems around important energy sites but avoided the facilities themselves, Iranian and Israeli officials said."
BBC verify turned this into "The Abadan oil refinery was one of the sites targeted in its air strikes on Saturday morning."
It is not known yet what caused the damage, but it seems clear that this was not a targeted strike by Israel. In my opinion, the YES resolution is unjustified.
@Sodann It sure did look like it at the time! It's a tricky balance between resolving ASAP and waiting for further information to come out.
@WilliamGunn I don't the see need for an immediate resolution. Leaving it open for months might be too much, but a few days are totally reasonable.
