Resolution criteria
This market will resolve to YES if either of the following conditions is met regarding the 4-game series between the Texas Rangers and the Tampa Bay Rays scheduled for September 3–6, 2026:
Texas Rangers Sweep: The Texas Rangers win all 4 games of the series.
High-Scoring Series: The cumulative total of runs scored by both teams combined across the 4 games is 27 or more.
If the Texas Rangers fail to win all 4 games AND the combined run total across all 4 games is 26 or fewer, the market will resolve to NO.
Additional Details & Edge Cases:
Official Source: Scores and results will be verified using official game data on MLB.com.
Postponements & Rescheduling: If a game in this series is postponed or suspended and rescheduled to be played (or completed) at a later date, that makeup game will still count toward the series sweep and cumulative run total, provided it is completed before the end of the 2026 MLB regular season.
Cancellations/Shortened Series: If any of the scheduled 4 games are canceled and not completed before the end of the 2026 MLB regular season:
If the total combined runs in the played games already reach 27 or more, the market will resolve to YES.
If the Rangers lose any played game, and the total combined runs do not reach 27 or more, the market will resolve to NO (as a 4-game sweep is impossible and the run threshold was not met).
Background
The Texas Rangers host the Tampa Bay Rays for a 4-game series at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, running from Thursday, September 3 through Sunday, September 6, 2026. This market covers two independent paths to a "YES" resolution: a 4-game series sweep by the Rangers, or a high-scoring series where both teams combine to average 6.75 runs or more per game.
