Resolution criteria
This market resolves to YES if either of the following conditions is met during the New Orleans Saints at Detroit Lions Week 1 game of the 2026 NFL regular season:
The New Orleans Saints win the game.
The total combined score of both teams is 56 points or more (e.g., 28-28, 30-26, etc.).
This market resolves to NO if the Detroit Lions win (or the game ends in a tie) AND the total combined score is 55 points or fewer.
Additional Rules:
The primary source of truth for the final score and outcome is the official box score on NFL.com or ESPN (or equivalent game center page).
If the game is postponed to a later date but played during the 2026 NFL regular season, the market will resolve based on the results of that postponed game.
If the game is canceled and not played to completion by the end of the 2026 NFL regular season, this market will resolve to N/A.
Background
The New Orleans Saints open their 2026 NFL regular season on the road against the Detroit Lions at Ford Field. The game is scheduled for Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 1:00 PM ET.
This is a binary "OR" proposition. For the market to resolve to YES, traders are predicting either a straight-up win by the Saints, or a high-scoring matchup where the offenses of both teams combine to score at least 56 points. If Detroit wins a relatively low-scoring affair (55 total points or fewer), the market resolves to NO.
