Resolution criteria
This market will resolve to YES if either of the following conditions is met during the scheduled 3-game series between the Houston Astros and the New York Mets from August 28 to August 30, 2026:
Astros Sweep: The Houston Astros win all 3 games of the series.
Runs Total: The combined total of runs scored by both teams across the series is 28 or more (i.e., Game 1 Total + Game 2 Total + Game 3 Total $\ge$ 28).
This market will resolve to NO if the Houston Astros do not sweep the series AND the combined run total across the series is 27 or fewer.
Edge Cases & Postponements:
If the series is shortened due to weather or other cancellations and fewer than 3 games are officially completed, the "sweep" condition is deemed not met. However, the market can still resolve to YES if the run total in the completed games reaches 28 or more. If fewer than 3 games are completed and the run total remains 27 or fewer, the market will resolve to NO.
Games must be completed and deemed official by Major League Baseball to count.
Resolution will be determined using the official box scores provided by MLB.com.
Background
The Houston Astros travel to Citi Field to face the New York Mets for a three-game series scheduled from August 28 to August 30, 2026. This market offers two distinct paths to a YES resolution: a dominant pitching and/or offensive performance resulting in a 3-game road sweep by the Astros, or a high-scoring series where both lineups combine for at least 28 runs over the three games.
