Unfortunately there weren't three, so I think I'll split the reward equally since the two sophisms seem pretty equal to me, one a word play and the other a mathematical equivalent. I'll try to think of something better for the next.

And then I realized that A = B
So A^2 - AB is the same as A^2 - A*A which is the same as A^2 - A^2 which is the same as 0
And you tried dividing by A^2 - AB which is dividing by 0 so ha! There's you mathematical falacy!
For example : manifolders are clever, Velaris is a manifolder, therefore Velaris is clever. However this one is rather simple and not very clever at all. I'm looking for something more interesting. I am not in the competition.
