On Oct. 25 2024, 14.72% of McDonald's ice cream machines were broken according to https://mcbroken.com/.

A right to repair copyright exemption was approved which could make the machines easier to repair: https://www.ifixit.com/News/102368/victory-is-sweet-we-can-now-fix-mcdonalds-ice-cream-machines

This question resolves yes if there are less broken machines reported my McBroken on Oct. 25, 2025.

(I will try to check on the day of. If I check late then a nearby day will be used. If mcbroken.com shuts down due to the machines reliably working, this resolves Yes. If it shuts down due to the machines being discontinued/always broken this resolves No. If mcbroken.com shuts down for unrelated reasons, this resolves N/A.)
