@CodeandSolder This is not falsifying medical data. There are many indirect measures that are computed from available sensors. For example, heart rate, hrv, and SpO2 are estimated from PPG sensors in wearables, which don’t directly measure any of these metrics but indirectly are used to compute them
@LaraWeed what do you mean "don't directly measure any of those metrics"? IMO it very much does, as in, the measurements they perform are dependent only on those variables and pulse oximetry is scientifically correct way to obtain them.
@CodeandSolder Indirect measures can be validated to compute a relevant measure, meaning that it can be used in certain contexts reliably. They mush go through the process of validation to show usefulness and where the measure fails. Direct measures look at the system more directly or are in themselves the measure such as concentrations in blood for example
