Context: The Commission opened an investigation into Google's practices in AdTech in June 2021. Its recent Statement of Objections (filed in June 2023) allege that Google is abusing its dominant position within the AdTech market by self-preferncing its own products to the detriment of competitors. The Commission is proposing a break-up of Google's AdTech business.
