Think about doing a retreat with 2 sessions in a weekend
@MarnixV I have 10+ years of experience with psychedelics. Yeah... The vomit thing is a thing for me as well.
@MarnixV @LuizFelipeGarcia isn't the same as giving or prescribing. Just want to know if someone his experience was a positive one or negetiv and one and if it did meet expectations
A friend of mine did LSD and had a negative outcome: they had a break leading to hospitalization and eventually fractured into a plural system (traumagenic DID, roughly) as a result. Their trauma from the experience is still with them several years later.
If you wish to experiment with Ayahuasca, be mindful of what you’re going through and make sure you have a skilled teacher. I think two critical factors in my friend’s experience was lack of trust between teacher/student and poor supervision.
On the fence between Yes (would recommend) and It’s Complicated.
If it feels right with your intuition and if you trust the integrity of whoever will be facilitating it for you, then yes.
It’s strong medicine and sacred stuff.
A lot of facilitators are on ego trips. They’re just fellow humans, (probably) not enlightened gurus.
The plants are the teachers. I’d screen for humility in whoever will be providing it to you and holding the space.
@WilliamGunn doing this as we speak. Found a great small place, with 10+ years of experience. No pressure at all in our first call.
@TheWabiSabi What is drawing you to this, as opposed to something like a meditation retreat or other type of transformational experience?
@WilliamGunn Im doing meditation and yoga now for more than 5+ years, but nothing transformed me more than my first LSD trip 12 years ago. I have mostly done microsdosing these last few years but want to have a deep connect trip again now that I feel I'm at a crossroad in my life. Also just a curious mind that want to try the deep end of the pool.
