On June 2, 2026, the Bitcoin address 14FEEMRhaUwMbhf2rA1cFXmS1Zuk9nc9eq received 10,306.347 BTC as the change output of a transaction that also sent 116.3 BTC through 1JbezDVd9VsK9o1Ga9UqLydeuEvhKLAPs6, an address widely labeled as a Mt. Gox trustee wallet. It has not sent anything since. The pattern matches the trustee's earlier repayment batches, where a small amount goes out to an exchange and the large remainder moves to a fresh address.
The Mt. Gox trustee's current repayment deadline is October 31, 2026. It has already been pushed back three times (2023 → 2024 → 2025 → 2026), each time days before it expired.
RESOLVES YES if any transaction spending from 14FEEMRhaUwMbhf2rA1cFXmS1Zuk9nc9eq is confirmed in a Bitcoin block with a timestamp on or before 2026-11-20 23:59 UTC. Any amount counts, including a move of the whole balance to another address the trustee controls.
RESOLVES NO if the address has made no outgoing transaction by then.
Resolution source: https://mempool.space/address/14FEEMRhaUwMbhf2rA1cFXmS1Zuk9nc9eq (block-time of the first outgoing transaction). Any other block explorer showing the same transaction is an equivalent backup. Who owns the address does not matter for resolution, only whether it spends.
Incoming dust sent to the address does not count; only outgoing (spending) transactions count.
I opened this at 30%.
For YES: the trustee moved coins in March and June this year (the June batch is where this address came from), and the Oct 31 deadline could force a final round of repayments. Address history: https://mempool.space/address/1JbezDVd9VsK9o1Ga9UqLydeuEvhKLAPs6
For NO: the deadline has been extended three years running, announced days before it expired (Oct 2025: https://www.theblock.co/post/376205/mt-gox-postpones-repayment-deadline). This address has sat untouched for 4.5 months. The remaining creditors are the ones stuck on paperwork, which doesn't need a 10k-BTC move.
What would change my mind: a trustee notice before Oct 31 that sets a final repayment date instead of a new deadline. I'd go above 60% on that.
