Resolution criteria

This market will resolve to YES if all six of the specified clubs win their first match of the 2026/27 Premier League season. If any of the six clubs draws or loses their opening match, the market will resolve to NO.

The scheduled Gameweek 1 fixtures for these clubs are:

  • Arsenal vs. Coventry City (Aug 21, 2026)

  • Hull City vs. Manchester United (Aug 22, 2026)

  • Brentford vs. Tottenham Hotspur (Aug 22, 2026)

  • Manchester City vs. AFC Bournemouth (Aug 23, 2026)

  • Newcastle United vs. Liverpool (Aug 23, 2026)

  • Fulham vs. Chelsea (Aug 24, 2026)

Rules and Edge Cases:

  • "Opening match" refers strictly to each club's first played match of the 2026/27 English Premier League season. Other competitions (e.g., FA Community Shield, club friendlies) do not count.

  • If a match is postponed, the market will resolve based on the new first Premier League match actually played by each of the above Mentioned clubs, or N/A if a fair determination cannot be made.

  • Official results at the end of regular/stoppage time will stand. Subsequent administrative points deductions or retroactively overturned match results will be ignored.

  • Resolution source: Official Premier League Website.

Background

The 2026/27 Premier League season is scheduled to kick off on August 21, 2026. Due to the expanded 2026 FIFA World Cup during the summer, the start of the domestic campaign was pushed back by one week. This market tracks whether the traditional "Big Six" English clubs will start their league campaigns with a flawless round of victories.
