The market will close when the coin is found, or 16 January 0000hrs TIMEMIT, whichever is earlier. If Other wins, this entire market will be N/A-ed.

@jack That phrasing was intentional and works perfectly with the market's design from my end. Since the market was a guessing game of a known but secret event, all it needed to not be "Other"-ed was for the correct answer to be added as an answer before deadline.
So the line worked as intended. It's a consistent statement and was there from the start of the market. If there was a way to remove "Other" from the market, I would.
@Soni it is necessary for there to be an Other option for free response math to work. When answers are created, they are split out of Other. It normally means "any answer that isn't already added". Using it this way works sort of but also sort of breaks the logic behind Other. For example, a malicious trader could spam 100 answers and prevent anyone else from adding further answers, therefore guaranteeing that the right answer, if not already present, can't be added. If you use Other the normal way, that doesn't change anything, anyone who bet on Other still gets paid out as they expect. But with the way you use it here, that means that they lose all future guesses.
