It's yet unclear how the Creator Partner program will interact with leagues. Will the mana they would have gotten from leagues be still counted as shadow mana for leagues? Or will they lose out entirely on that source of league points? This question is attempting to track collateral in the league ecosystem due to the Creator Partner program.

If creators still score full (or more) "shadow mana" as I call it, this resolves 0.

Otherwise, if they're in Masters when they become partnered, cease being in Masters, and don't recover at any point in 2024, they count for this question. This may end up becoming quite a nightmare to track, so this could N/A if it becomes clear that we don't have enough reliable info.

resolved N/A due to changes in the partner program that make this question moot

fixed a mistake in desc: "cease being partner" -> "cease being in Masters". MB, hope the intent was clear enough to not affect any early trades

@Stralor i based my bets on the title, all good ty!

sold Ṁ49 NO

oh but ig I hadn't considered that they had to stay out of masters for the rest of the year. a large fraction of masters ppl just hit masters some months and derank and hang close to masters-diamond-plat. I think this will remain the case for some of the creator partners. unlikely that they start masters and despite continuing to use manifold never manage to get back into masters. that's harder to quantify

@Bayesian yeah, the catch being that they have to become partner when masters. basically: will the partner program suppress league performance longterm

@Stralor yeah I doubt it will, I think if people drop out permanently it'll be that they stop caring about league performance (which happens surprisingly often), not that they can't manage to be performant, ig
