The current limit is at 12 weeks. After this 12-week time limit, a request must be submitted to a special medical assessment board that will determine whether an abortion will be granted.
In December 2023, a public commission (abortutvalget) recommended moving the time limit to 18 weeks.
This market resolves yes if the law is amended in 2024 to allow abortion at 18 weeks or later without submitting a request to any assessment board.
