Resolution Criteria
What does leading mean in this context?
I will leave it to each individual to decide what leading means for them. If you ask me today, I would say that MidJourney is clearly leading in terms of quality and setting the standards. It feels to me that everyone else is just trying to catch up.
How will we decide which AI tool is leading?
I will start a poll with all options listed above 1 week before the end of the market (23.12.2024) and will resolve to the option with the highest number of votes.
Does ChatGPT + Dall-E count as Dall-E?
Yes, ChatGPT + Dall-E counts as Dall-E and any commercial text-to-image model released by OpenAI.
Related Markets
@TheBayesian as in stability.AI's thing, it's branded but open source, SD1.5 is very popular, they're on 2 and XL now, the open source community has made a lot of improvements that midjourney and co just can't beat, leading in terms of users though, couldn't say
@TheBayesian I subscribe to the MJ and SD subreddits, the SD one is more interesting because of the community innovations in open source, go watch it
@VAPOR Yes other means that another entity is the leading one. I leave it to each individual participating in the poll to decide for themselves what leading means.
For me, MidJourney is clearly leading in terms of quality and setting the standards. It feels to me that everyone else is just trying to catch up.
@Soli it's a market though not a poll so the resolution criteria it's not up to us, you scrolled up and saw the poll market instead of all the way up where the actual market is correct?
@VAPOR I am not sure I understand what you mean. I am the creator of this market and the resolution criteria states we will be running a poll to decide.
@Soli my apologies, I still haven't scrolled up and studied it, I've lost money to this behaviour many times, but I probably implied you misread the thread you were currently in, but instead I misread the thread structure by not reading it fully 😬
