
way back when I got my previous lease at with @noumena and zane, we got 1 month of rent free ... except the deposit was basically the same as rent (~3k)
I have now fully moved out, gotten rid of a lot of junk, and cleaned a lot of it. Here are some ways I could lose the deposit:
noumena agreed to get rid of the furniture and the remaining stuff. For some reason this doesn't happen and Trinity charges us to remove our junk.
Trinity notices the damage to the wall paper caused by improper tape removal. Most of it is on the cieling, where a painted hack may suffice, but there's a chunk on the wall.
Trinity notices the scratches on the door caused by the cart
Trinity salty the place is insufficiently cleanI don't return keys in time?
unknown unknowns: some form I forgot to sign etc
Inspection is Wednesday, June 7 and the "move out date" is June 8
