The fourth test in the 2023 Ashes series starts on Wednesday and lasts for five days or until there is a result.
Will it last until day 5?
The weather forecast is currently quite uncertain so rain could be a factor!
Resolution criterea:
If a result is declared before the end of Day 4 (Saturday) and there is no play on Day 5, this resolves to NO
If there is play on Day 5, even if it is just single ball, this resolves to YES
If there is no result by the end of Day 4 and play is scheduled for Day 5, this will resolve to YES even if no play is possible on Day 5 and the game is declared a draw

No play on Saturday, day 4, seems quite a possibility. The way I read description above no play due to weather or anything other than result being reached/agreed on any day does not cause a no judgement. i.e. competition "lasts" 5 days even if no play on any one/two/three... of those days. Hope I am reading this correctly?
@ChristopherRandles Yes - if there's no play on Saturday because of the weather then that was still Day 4 and it would count as having lasted until Day 5!
