Resolution criteria

This market resolves YES if any NATO or EU member country orders one or more ISPs to block access to a website in the .gov domain before noon, January 20, 2029 (Eastern Time). The blocking must be a formal directive to ISPs, either by the government, a judge, or anyone legally authorized to issue such orders in the local political system, not a "voluntary" action by individual ISPs.

Resolution will be determined by credible news reports, official government statements, or documented ISP blocking lists confirming the order. The market resolves NO if no such order is issued by the deadline.

The question is motivated by reports of a US plan to set an online portal at freedom.gov to bypass foreign censorship, allowing users to route their traffic through it so it appears to originate from within the United States.
