Resolution Criteria
This market resolves YES if my 2002 Honda Accord EX Sedan 4 DOOR v6 experiences a mechanical breakdown before March 16, 2027.
A breakdown is defined as a failure of a major system (engine, transmission, electrical, cooling, braking, suspension, or fuel system) that prevents the vehicle from operating safely or at all. Preventative repairs (e.g I replace transmission but car didn't break down) and Minor repairs (oil changes, air filters, wiper blades, tire rotations, fuel filters, tires) do not count.
Background
On Friday, Feb 27, my 2003 Ford Focus SE engine blew, due to valve seat failure, while on my way to get a hair cut for a date. And last sunday, March 15, I picked up, for 2500$, a 2002 Honda Accord EX Sedan 4-Door with the v6 engine and 211,000 miles driven on it. Lets see, and hope for my sake, the car lasts at least a year.
UPDATE: My starter is starting to go out but I can start the car just fine on first attempt for the most part. Also, car jerks forward when accelerating and I hear, 'thud' noise occurs when I shift into reverse, and thud noises when braking. Other than the starter, the first two might point to bad motor mounts and my brake and rotors likely need replacing. On the brightside, the car drives fine. The only complaint I have is it feels like a gass guzzler compared to my previous compact car.
