Over the past few editions, the number of Indian athletes at the Summer Olympics has steadily increased.
At Tokyo 2020, the Indian contingent was made up of 124 athletes, the largest that the country had sent to the Games. India also won seven medals, their biggest haul in a single Olympics - including Neeraj Chopra’s historic gold medal in the men’s javelin throw.
In summer Olympics India will expect more athletes to qualify and of course, increase the Tokyo Olympics medal haul. thats why there is more probability for INDIA to win more than 7 medals.

Because in Asian Indian athlete had performed very well India finished their Asian Games 2023 campaign with a record haul of 107 medals - 28 gold, 38 silver and 41 bronze. This surpassed India’s previous record tally achieved at the last edition at Jakarta 2018, where a 570-strong Indian squad racked up 70 medals - 16 gold, 23 silver and 31 bronze. thats why i told INDIA WILL HAVE MORE THAN 7 MEDALS IN SUMMER OLYMPICS.
