Manifold recently introduced a slider to adjust your order size on mobile devices, following the suggestion of several of our users.
I personally enjoy it, but it seems some users do not. This will resolve YES if Manifold removes the bet slider at any time before the end of the week.

@SG Thanks for the first change! This configuration is much harder to accidentally hit. As for the latter I don't think that large of a range is useful, seeing how the 95th percentile bet amount over the past month is M$123. But I'm also never going to use the slider so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@SG It still forces me to scroll down to see the "submit bet" button, so it's a net negative. This is better, though.
@marthinwurer Just curious, are you on iOS?
@wasabipesto and @MattP, are you on Android?
I have a theory...
@SG Can you describe why you like it? I'm also confused about why it exists. You can still type in the number, it just adds vertical space and an opportunity to mis-bet on mobile. (The same could basically be said about quick bets, but those do let you bet without visiting the market page, which is some utility.)
@wasabipesto It's the 1/2 of frustration that does it for me. It's both in the way (takes up vertical space) and prone to mis-betting.
@wasabipesto It's easier than using the mobile keyboard. And even as someone who frequently mis-clicks the quick bet arrows, I haven't had any problems.
Personally, there is no use case for this for me, only inconvenience.
The slider takes up vertical space on the pop-up, often pushing the "submit trade" button off of the page and requiring me to scroll to actually submit.
It's subject to inadvertent bumps, changing the bet amount in unpredictable ways. I haven't yet accidentally placed a bet for my entire balance because I accidentally brushed the right side of the slider before hitting "submit trade".... but it's coming.
There's no world in which I want to use this - either I want to bet to a specific probability in which case I place a limit order, or I want to bet a specific amount in which case I type it in.
Maybe I'm the lone curmudgeon, but this just seems like a net negative feature to me.
@MattP I have definitely done a bump that caused me to nearly submit incorrect bets.
In addition, this is a more niche complaint, but it looks bad in the Dark Reader extension. (As a note to other users, Static+ works best)
