This market resolves to the player who wins the 2025 Grand Chess Tour Finals in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The four qualified players are Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, Fabiano Caruana, Levon Aronian, and R Praggnanandhaa.
The semifinals will feature MVL vs Praggnanandhaa and Caruana vs Aronian. Each match consists of 2 classical games, 2 rapid games, and 4 blitz games with the following scoring system:
Classical: 6 points for a win, 3 for a draw, 0 for a loss
Rapid: 4 points for a win, 2 for a draw, 0 for a loss
Blitz: 2 points for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss
The player with the most points after all games wins the match. The winners of the semifinals will face each other in the final match to determine the overall champion.
