  • Update 2025-05-08 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): The creator has provided insight into how this market may be resolved in response to a question about resolution metrics. They stated they are considering tracking the following metrics for human-written content:

    • Reader engagement

    • Emotional reactions

    • Return visits

The creator also noted that "It’s not a fixed formula" but views these considerations as a "solid starting point for showing our unique value."

  • Update 2025-05-10 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): The creator has further specified the types of human-written content that will be the primary focus when evaluating the previously mentioned resolution metrics (reader engagement, emotional reactions, return visits). They stated their focus is more on:

    • Blogs

    • Articles

    • Other forms of narrative-driven or informative content

The creator emphasized that these formats heavily rely on emotional resonance, tone, and storytelling. While copywriting is acknowledged as part of the broader picture, the creator's primary focus for resolution will be on content that connects, educates, or inspires in a more layered way, as this is where they believe the "strongest edge" for human writers lies.

I have 100% confidence that by market close your will be able to make a reasonably compelling argument either way, considering there's no resolution criteria whatsoever.

If I wanted to resolve this no I could easily point to new advances in LLMs that inevitably happen this year and increase in volume of ai generated content online.

If I wanted to resolve yes I would find data that supports the fact that humans still obviously prefer human authored content and are more engaged with it.

Neither would be hard at all. No offense, but all we are betting on here in this market is OPs sentiment not changing... I give it about 80%.

How do you plan on resolving this? Any hard metric in mind that you are going to track?

@ian As a content writer, I genuinely believe we still have a strong edge.

What sets us apart is our ability to tell real, emotional stories that resonate, something AI can’t fully replicate.

I’m considering tracking metrics like reader engagement, emotional reactions, and return visits to human-written content.

It’s not a fixed formula, but it’s a solid starting point for showing our unique value.

I hope it works

@Precious do you mean copywriting or specifically books, articles, blogs, etc?

@ian I was referring more to blogs, articles, and other forms of narrative-driven or informative content. These formats really lean on emotional resonance, tone, and storytelling areas where human writers still shine.

Copywriting is part of the broader picture, but my focus is on content that connects, educates, or inspires in a more layered way. That’s where I think our edge is strongest.
