@NicoDelon So, so far we are sitting on 3 -- Adam Yates, Hindley, and Vingegaard. If Vingegaard relinquishes it then regains it, he won't count twice.

I can see four happening by deliberately giving the jersey away. There still is a long way to go until Paris.

@Checktaschu Sure, I can see a breakaway and temporary yellow jersey who’s neither TP not JV. Still pretty unlikely.

It happens fairly regularly. It just needs to be the right guy in the right break at the right time.
What speaks against it that the next opportunities for it are only on stage 9 or 10.
@Checktaschu Possible for sure. Thing is, the gaps are already pretty big. It would be risky for them to let a top 5 contender break away too far. Others would have to pull off a major breakaway to snatch the jersey. Again, plausible scenarios abound — maybe on the flats? — but what we’ve seen so far is the two favorites working in a different league.
@NicoDelon I still feel like 5 is a reasonable amount at the current time -- I fully expect TJV to 'give away' yellow at the first opportunity -- POSSIBLY Saturday, very unlikely Sunday, maybe it has to wait for Tuesday. And that would take it to 4 already -- only requires Pogacar to pass Vingegaard to be 5.
@NicoDelon So what is now the scenario in which we get five yellow jerseys? Vingegaard hasn’t seemed exactly eager to relinquish his.
@NicoDelon It seems pretty unlikely now at just 5%. Probably requires Pogacar to take it in the time trial and then both Pogacar and Vingegaard to DNF or have some other major event.
