Resolution criteria

This market resolves to whichever candidate receives the most votes in the 2026 Democratic primary election for Florida's 23rd Congressional District. Resolution will be verified through official Florida Division of Elections results at https://dos.fl.gov/elections/.

Background

Incumbent Democrat Jared Moskowitz has held the seat since 2022. Oliver Larkin, a Democrat from Deerfield Beach, announced his candidacy on July 4, 2025. Larkin is a first-time candidate who has worked as a union organizer and was part of Bernie Sanders' 2016 presidential campaign. The district is rated as D plus 2 by the Cook Political Report, meaning it performed 2 points more Democratic than the nation during the past two presidential contests.

Considerations

Six candidates, including one primary challenger—Oliver Larkin—are actively running to unseat Moskowitz this cycle, though the other five are Republican general election candidates. The Democratic primary will determine which Democrat faces the Republican nominee in the general election.
