The Express are reporting that there are plans to add a bank holiday for 2025 to celebrate 80 years since VE day. This hasn't yet been confirmed and the Express sometimes has some fairly poor reporting. Will August 22nd be a bank holiday?
Resolves YES if at any point August 22nd 2025 is listed on https://www.gov.uk/bank-holidays for England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland.
