You might have first-hand knowledge as a person who has not explored Georgism as an economic model what this answer is. This is the general populations “perception”, truthful or not, that is the most significant obstacle to implementing Georgist LVT policies.

Perhaps it is the result of some anti-Georgist group, such as an association of landlords of some type that incorrectly brands Georgism as Socialism, but it sticks in the general populations mind. It may be something relevant, such as potential loss of middle-class assets.

You may believe this top perceived problem may or may not be overcome, that is irrelevant. The goal is to find what the general populace will be inclined to think about Georgist LVT policies on their limited investigation. Georgists can then focus on solutions and messaging.

There are separate markets for the top “real” Georgist problems and the top “political” problems.

Resolution:

This market will resolve by the earlier of the close date or when 25 unique traders have bought positions. Bots excluded. This is a short-term market. I will open a subsequent market out a longer period with a higher minimum threshold of unique traders if this gets activity.

I will manually count unique traders, and everyone gets one vote based on your very first buy. The vote is not weighted by Mana, just one vote per trader. If we exceed 25 traders before I notice and close, I will still count all unique traders.
