David Tennant appeared as the Fourteenth Doctor in his own outfit from the start (i.e. his clothes regenerated with him), while new Doctors usually appear in their predecessor's clothes for their first episode. Russell T Davies says that this was at least partially done because putting men in women's clothes "has to be done with immense thought and respect". Will they acknowledge this whole thing in the show?
