@b575 No, definitely not all carnivores!! I hadn't even thought about that interpretation. The idea isn't to literally end predation! Just the main introduced land-based predators that do the most damage to our ecosystems, of which rats, stoats, and possums are the main three. If they're all ~eradicated in NZ in 2050, this will resolve YES.
@b575 I suppose "pest-free" would have been a better term, but the government uses "predator-free", so 🤷♂
