Look, I don't know how ethical this would be but I just want to see an elephant try to walk in a low-g environment
To be considered able to walk, the elephant must be able to walk (or jump, or similar) at least 30m with intentionality and without falling over (stumbles are fine)
Resolves NO if the ability to walk is not successfully demonstrated within a month of the first living elephant landing on the moon (may also resolve NO earlier if outcome is clear)
If no elephant has been taken to the moon by 2100 - resolves N/A (or if N/A is unavailable - resolves 50%)
I won't bet due to possible subjectivity in what would count

Hmmm, good question
Let's say that if an elephant walking hasn't been demonstrated within a month of the first (living) elephant landing on the moon, resolves NO; with the possibility to resolve NO earlier if it's clear that it won't succeed
(Also, can I just say, I really appreciate the genuine requests for clarification on this otherwise silly market)
No idea, it would definitely make sense to test how elephants react to (both behaviourally and physiologically) 0g/low-g before you commit to launching one into space. But then again, taking an elephant up on a 0g plane flight is quite a commitment itself, plus I don't even know how well elephants would fit in your typical 0g plane (I guess a juvenile would be fine? Juveniles would also be a hell of a lot cheaper to send into space).
But yeah Idk, I guess I'd put it at roughly a 60% chance for 0g flight before moon?
Love the banner lol

I assume that in the unlikely event we actually get to see this the elephant would just be in a pressurised habitat (circus on the moon anyone?) but also, imagine how iconic an elephant spacesuit would be
