Resolution criteria

• This market resolves to the candidate who officially wins the Democratic primary election for Missouri's 1st Congressional District, scheduled to take place on August 4, 2026.

• Resolution will be based on the official certified election results published by the Missouri Secretary of State. In the event of a delay in final certification, major news outlets (such as the Associated Press) projecting a winner with near certainty may be used for resolution.

• If a candidate who is not listed as an answer option wins the primary, the market will resolve as N/A (as the option to add new answers is disabled).

Background

• This primary is a rematch of the high-profile 2024 race in which Wesley Bell defeated the then-incumbent Cori Bush by a margin of 51.1% to 45.6%. Bell is now running as the incumbent, and Bush is campaigning to reclaim the seat.
