The SSBMRank is an annual ranking (with additional mid-year rankings) of the top 100 (or top 50 for mid-year) Super Smash Bros. Melee players. This ranking uses panel voting to determine the order of the players.

Recently, an algorithmic ranking system was proposed on Reddit, called AlgoRank.

For the Summer 2025 period, the average absolute difference between the placements of SSBMRank and AlgoRank was 5.16.

Notably, AlgoRank Summer 2025 was put out as a retrospective audit of the SSBMRank list. The AlgoRank 2025 rankings will be prospective, put out before the SSBMRank panel voting.

Resolves YES if both rankings are released and the average absolute difference is less than 5.

Resolves N/A if at least one of the rankings does not release.

Resolves NO otherwise.
