The original trailer shows Mario collecting a fruit that gives him an elephant form.

This market resolves YES if each playable character can get the powerup and assume an elephant-like form (with leeway to include any proboscidean, so anyone whose design happens to be based on a mammoth, mastodon, etc. would still count).

This market resolves NO if that is not true, with scenarios including but not limited to:

• any of the playable characters can get the elephant fruit but becomes a different, non-elephant-like animal (even if abilities are the same)

• any of the playable characters is offered a different, non-elephant-fruit powerup, and only Mario gets the elephant fruit

• the elephant fruit is only available in an area or game mode that some playable character is unable to access

This market resolves N/A if the game is cancelled, is postponed past October, or if the powerup doesn't make it into the release version of the game.

This market closes on the currently announced release date 20 October 2023 and resolves after that when the information is known (i.e. if a counterexample is shown, or elephant forms of all characters are found).

Fine print:

• If the game has any ambiguity as to who counts as a "playable character", then this market specifically refers to any character the player can choose to play as when offered a character selection screen/menu/etc.

• If there are different game modes with different playable character rosters, then 'all playable characters' includes all of them.
