AB 1775 (Haney, San Francisco) is a California state bill that would allow cannabis cafes (allowing the sale and on-site consumption of cannabis) to sell prepared food and drinks. This market resolves to YES if the bill becomes law in 2024 (the governor signs or allows the bill to pass unsigned). The market resolves NO if the governor vetoes the bill (the legislature has not overriden a veto since 2000), or if the bill otherwise fails to become law.
My understanding is that the deadline for the Governor to take action is October 1. If for some reason I am incorrect in the above wording, I will do my best to resolve this market fairly.
