Resolution criteria

This market will resolve to the date on which Anthropic officially makes a model from the "Fable" family (such as Claude Fable 5 or any successor model) available as part of the standard Claude Pro subscription plan ($20/month) after the announced removal by July 20.

To qualify for resolution, the model must meet the following criteria:

• It must be accessible broadly to Claude Pro subscribers in the United States within their standard subscription allowance (possibly subject to additional message/rate limits).

• Access must not require spending usage credits or pay-per-use fees.

• Access must not require upgrading to a higher-priced tier (such as Claude Max or Team Premium).

• The model must remain available under these conditions for at least 5 days after re-introduction, excepting temporary technical issues

The primary sources of truth for this market will be:

• The official Anthropic Blog

• The Claude Help Center

• Official Claude pricing pages or verified announcements on the official @Anthropic or @Claude AI social media accounts

• User reports of model availability on their plan

The relevant timezone is Pacific Time. The relevant instant is the time the model is actually made available, not the time an announcement is made.

In addition to the resolution criteria given above, the "Before July 21 2026" option resolves Yes in case Anthropic does not remove Fable from the Pro plan by the end of July 24 (in other words, this scenario is treated the same as an instantaneous re-introduction).

Background

Anthropic launched its frontier "Mythos-class" model, Claude Fable 5, in June 2026. Initially, Fable 5 was included across all paid tiers—including the $20/month Claude Pro plan—for up to 50% of weekly usage limits.

However, following a series of export restriction, re-introduction to plans in July and temporary extensions, Anthropic announced on July 18, 2026, that starting July 20, 2026, standard subscription-based access to Fable 5 would be restricted to the Max ($100/month) and Team Premium plans. Pro and Team Standard plans transitioned to a usage-based billing model (paying via separately billed "usage credits"), with a one-time $100 credit provided as a transition measure. This market tracks when Anthropic will bring a Fable-class model back into the baseline Claude Pro plan.
