Currently as of 9/17, it stands at Trump 2, Harris 1 (the interview with Walz was not a solo interview and does not count).

UPDATE 9/17 midday: links posted by @yk look legit, so that's actually Trump 2, Harris 4 at this point. Big chungus is starting to fall behind.

I'm defining a solo interview as one where a single candidate sits down with a single interviewer for an extended question and answer period or discussion.

  • Press conferences don't count

  • Does not have to be published in video form - the interview that led to this article would count if it were with Harris https://nymag.com/intelligencer/article/donald-trump-ear-campaign-assassination-attempt.html

  • Podcasts count if they meet the format (1 on 1) and don't count if they don't - e.g Joe Rogan would count (Jamie is present but not an interviewer), something like the Breakfast Club would not count unless it were a special "interview" episode with only one host

  • Interview does have to be published to the public in some way to count - an interview that happens before the election but isn't yet published would not count

I'm defining an assassination attempt similar to the other markets about whether or not there will be another one - has to be a credible, actual attempt as reported by reputable sources. Somewhat a judgment call but I'll try to err on the side of a liberal interpretation.

I will not bet in this market.
