I don't think any of his other interviews are cringe. I really like Lex. I'm not blocked by him. Some of his peace and love stuff is only a bit cringe. Will I end up thinking this interview is cringe, him trying to have an interview entirely in Spanish?

I think the interview was okay, not his greatest, it was a lot of the president broadcasting, which does fit with a traditional interview. But it was pretty good for an interview with a world leader, who always have to keep their guard up.

@Bayesian I thought it was very cringe, I thought he was going to be speaking Spanish though. The dubbing was cringe imo.

@TheAllMemeingEye Something about the audio and the dubbing voice attempting to be his voice in English, but without ambient background noise, and me having to imagine long awkward pauses for Lex to hear the translation, and then ask his question. Kind of gets rid of the natural flow of the lex interview format. Also even stranger to have these delayed moments with a person as intense as Javier. I just felt overall very awkward about it, I think he did a good job, but the impression I was left with was indeed cringe, though not as cringe as if Lex had spoken bad spanish the whole time (which is what I had been expecting).
