Tesla has progressively announced updates to make the Model Y more affordable. On July 23, 2025 (Q2 2025 Earnings Call), Elon Musk described the upcoming model as a "more affordable Model Y" designed to be a vehicle "everyone loves and wants" at a lower price point. Full availability for customers is expected in Q4 2025 (Musk: "We'll be running with the more affordable models available for everyone in Q4").
Will this happen in October? The criteria is a Model Y variant with a price below $40,000 being available for sale on Tesla.com for the US market.

@dreev Yeah, people are strange!
And if the price were $1 more, this market would resolve to No because I explicitly put in a rule for Y model, but they also released a Model 3 at $37K :D
