This market resolves to the candidate who wins the 2026 election for Governor of Rhode Island — the term beginning in January 2027.

Which round counts: the November 3, 2026 general election (plurality winner). Primaries do not count.

Answers:

  • Helena Foulkes — ballot designation: Democratic

  • Aaron Guckian — ballot designation: Republican

  • Ken Block — ballot designation: Independent

  • Another candidate — any person other than the candidates listed above

Party: each candidate's party designation is shown for information only. This is a candidate market: a "No" on one candidate is a bet on any other winner, not on a particular party.

Withdrawal, death or replacement: the market resolves to the candidate certified as the winner. If a listed candidate is replaced on the ballot by someone not listed, and that person wins, it resolves to "Another candidate".

Results: resolves on the state's certified results. It may resolve earlier once the Associated Press has called the race and no recount, contest or runoff that could change the winner remains pending. If a recount or court-ordered correction changes the certified winner before resolution, the corrected certified result controls.

Postponement or cancellation: if the general election is postponed, the market stays open until the rescheduled election for the same term. If no election for this office and term is held, it resolves N/A.
