Background
Following a period of high volatility in early 2026, precious metals have experienced significant corrections. By mid-July 2026, silver prices traded in the range of $55.00 to $57.00 per troy ounce. Ongoing macroeconomic factors, including Federal Reserve interest rate policy and geopolitical friction in the Middle East, have continued to weigh on the precious metals market, putting further downward pressure on silver prices.
