A lot of the US has been moving towards legalizing cannabis for recreational use. However, there is still disagreement on the long term effects of this wide availability and use and it remains ostensibly illegal federally.
Will we see any of the following scenarios play out:
A federal crackdown on the states to enforce existing federal drug laws, overturning the state laws and removing legal cannabis from any state markets
A reversal of existing state laws regarding recreational cannabis, removing legalization through the same means as the initial legalization
Federal legalization, making cannabis legal across all states, followed by some states putting in state laws to make it illegal on the state level in the inverse of the current situation
