I've decided to get serious about finding a mate. Where will I find this person?

*using the words 'true love' in fairytale jest.

Context:

I am very new to online dating (been on a grand total of two non-serious app-instigated first dates a year ago) and also new to dating with the intention of settling down, getting married, kids, etc. (a recently discovered desire).

I figured I would try three different sites and compare them: one where other humans match you, one where you match yourself, and one where the algorithm matches you.

I will be using the main feature of each site. So I will go on the dates that matchmakers recommend on manifold.love, and I will go on dates with the highest % match using OkCupid's matching algorithm.

I will compare the success of the various sites by the final outcome (resolved here), but I've also considered gathering data on other metrics (# of dates, # of matches, etc). I am making this question as an accountability tool, and the poll as extra incentive. I tend to just 'go with the flow' or procrastinate with my love life but I want to be proactive. This question will hold me accountable to going on at least 3 dates from each site, and the poll (collecting data) will give me a fun incentive to keep going when I'm tired of it all.

You should not bet on manifold.love and then attempt to win my heart on manifold.love in order to gain mana, then break up with me after this question is resolved. My eggs are expiring, you know. That would not be nice.

I have not tried any of these sites before.
