Alrighty, everyone got the Brewers? I’ll go ahead and resolve. They’re five games ahead of Detroit and Toronto with three and a half days left in the month. I don’t see any doubleheaders that would affect this.

Update 8/22: Brewers are now only 3 games ahead of the Tigers. The league leaders looked unstoppable until a shaky series with the Cubs.

This last week, I’ll be watching closely in case there’s a shift back to the old guard. When I’m not driving to my kid’s school and back, I’ll do a rundown on the last week of the month.

Update 8/15: Yeah... I wish I still had the math chops to determine how soon I can resolve this, but I believe it could be as early as next week at this rate.
