His current running vertical is 23inches

The vertical jump is a notoriously difficult movement to improve.

(I am a layperson in the area of Sports/excercise science, but some quick context...)

the Vertical Jump ability , required for dunking,

seems to be dictated more by neural traits like coordination, motor neuron rate sequencing, neural drive, quality,

Pusdoimmutable physical traits like tendon insertion points and natural muscle fiber type distribution.

These are hard to change, in a way that is harder than improving strength or changing body composition.

Given Bryan is

1) already a intermediate strength trained individual

2) already lean/ not excessively heavy,

there are fewer avenues available to him to exploit than a (overweight/untrained) man in his situation.

It is my understanding it is an unprecedented event, for a healthy, low BMI, resistance trained man, to increase his vertical jump 23inches to 39.

Prehaps Bryan's most impressive accomplishment, should he accomplish it. I wish him luck.

Market will resolve when/if Bryan accomplishs a dunk before 2036, whitenessed and publicised with little controversy or accusations of falsifying the dunk. This may take the form of 3rd party testing, a dunk at a public event later published on socials. If there is considerable doubt about a dunks validity, I will leave it to mods to resolve. I don't expect there to be considerable doubt.
