When will Apple release AirPods Pro 3?

This market will resolve to the option corresponding to the calendar quarter in which Apple officially releases (i.e. makes available for purchase) the AirPods Pro 3 in the United States. We use standard fiscal quarters here:

  • Q2 2025: April 1, 2025 – June 30, 2025

  • Q3 2025: July 1, 2025 – September 30, 2025

  • Q4 2025: October 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025

  • Not in 2025: If the AirPods Pro 3 are not released by December 31, 2025 (either released later or not at all)

“AirPods Pro 3” here means a clear successor to the Pro line of AirPods, either explicitly called that name, or a clear intended successor based on the features they have (silicone in-ear tips, noise cancellation, etc.).

This market resolves either on the release date or at the end of the year, whichever comes first.

I’d rather stick to the criteria even if they’re kinda dumb. In future markets, I’ll likely explicitly state early resolution is an option.

The market for its announcement is looking pretty positive for an announcement this year at least.
