If I pay the minimum, the loan will be gone in Dec. 2026. My goal is to have it paid off by July 2026. I expect to pay the minimum this year and increase to $900-$1000/month in Jan. 2026. I budget conservatively and typically end up with more money than I had planned for. If I run into financial trouble, I can easily refinance but that would very likely increase the interest rate.
