Bing Chat can generate simple addition and math problems, but cannot currently solve them.

This is part of a series of monthly markets. I will retest at the end of each market, until Bing Passes 2 consecutive tests.

Details:

• At the close of the market I will give bing 10 problems, and ask it to solve them. If bing correctly answers 9 of the ten, the market resolves as Yes.

• Because I'm lazy, I will probably ask Bing to create these problems. I will not engineer the prompts. I may ask another engine. They will involve addition and subtraction.

• I will asked Bing to "Please solve this math problem" and then give it each individual problem. I will "grade" it's first answer. The problem will have a number at the beginning, but I will not introduce distractors/extraneous numbers to the problem in this market
